About the Role
I’m seeking a highly capable and experienced part-time personal assistant to help manage household logistics, light home and pet care, and weekly administrative tasks. This is an in-person role in my home and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and discreet.
You’ll be supporting a busy professional with a demanding schedule. This role requires initiative, excellent judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Weekly laundry, including delicate high-care items
- Light pet care, including weekly litter box cleaning
- Light home organization and care (watering plants, tidying)
- Managing household systems and supplies
- Coordinating vendors, deliveries, and appointments
- Sorting mail, packages, and paperwork
- Basic admin support (scheduling, reminders, follow-ups)
- Occasional errands / special projects as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or similar role
- Highly organized and proactive
- Strong attention to detail
- Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
- Comfortable working independently in high-trust environments
- Reliable transportation
- Tech-comfortable (text/email/calendar basics)
- Must genuinely like cats (two friendly cats in the home)
- References required
Schedule
- Approximately 5 hours per week on a set schedule
- Open to ad hoc requests outside of set schedule
Compensation
- ~$50/hour, depending on experience
- Paid weekly or biweekly via the platform of your choice
