Calling all Cat Lovers. A part time position is now available at our 5 star Rated Cat sitting business. It would be ideal as a second job or for additional income and is not a full time position.

Cat Folx is currently looking for a new Cat Sitter Extraordinaire to join our close knit team. Our service area covers the Mission District and surrounding areas. If you are looking for a rewarding part-time position where your clients are all purry and furry this just might be the position for you. Cats do better with routine and a stable environment so we care for them in their own homes.

We are looking for someone who is available for one full day on the weekends and on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings; with more hours available during our busy seasons of the Summer Vacations, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Increasingly clients are booking at the last minute so flexibility is key.

Our Cat Sitters earn competitive pay of $25 per 35 minute visit (and more for longer visits). You are reimbursed for mileage and telephone and will be paid a surcharge on major holidays. The number of sits you're provided with depends on the demand. There is much more demand on weekends and during holidays. The summer and winter holidays are our busiest time of year. We would require you to be available during the summer months and over Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year.

We serve the following San Francisco neighborhoods and are looking for a team member that can travel to all of them and who lives nearby (you must live within 2 miles of our service area to be considered):

Bernal Heights, Castro, Cole Valley, Diamond Heights, Forest Knolls, Glen Park, Haight (Upper & Lower), Mission, Noe Valley, Twin Peaks and Upper Market.

Reliable transportation is a plus but not required. We pay for your mileage.

At each scheduled cat sitting visit, you follow the instructions given by the client using our in-house booking and customer service system. You perform the prescribed care with attention to detail according to what your client has outlined. We always feed kitty, clean bowls, provide fresh water, scoop (the poop), clean the litter box and sweep up any tracked litter at every visit. We also send our clients an update every time we visit that includes photos and notes about how kitty is doing. Other tasks include cleaning up after any accidents and removing all pet related trash. You may also be asked to do some auxiliary housesitting tasks such as retrieving mail and packages or dealing with trash pick up day.

What we need from you:

- A genuine love of cats - and all their quirky purrsonalities

- Proven experience caring for cats (professional experience NOT required)

- Calm, Assertive energy

- High level of customer service nous
