Integrative Program Movement Coach (Part-Time): Adaptive & Inclusive Youth Programs

AcroSports is hiring a compassionate, skilled, and energetic Integrative Program Movement Coach to support our adaptive and special needs programming. This role is ideal for someone who believes deeply in inclusion, thrives in a movement-based environment, and knows how to meet students exactly where they are.

About the Role:
As an Integrative Program Movement Coach, you’ll work with children and teens of varying physical, cognitive, developmental, and sensory abilities. You’ll administer our adaptive curriculum, foster belonging, and create a safe, welcoming space where every student can participate fully. You’ll be part of a collaborative coaching team and serve as an ambassador of AcroSports’ mission and values.
What You’ll Do
-Coach and supervise youth and adult classes, including adaptive and special needs programming
-Modify activities to support varying abilities and learning styles
-Use positive behavior support and coaching practices
-Create sensory-aware environments and adjust as needed
-Communicate clearly using verbal, visual, and physical demonstrations
-Collaborate with families, caregivers, and support staff
-Maintain safety, cleanliness, and ADA-compliant standards
-Support equipment setup and breakdown (including adaptive equipment)
-Attend required trainings and meetings (adaptive coaching & disability awareness)
-Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience coaching gymnastics, parkour, circus arts, or movement-based youth programs
-Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in adaptive recreation
-Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing differences, and learning disabilities
-Familiarity with positive behavior support and de-escalation techniques
-Strong communication skills and inclusive language practices
-Patience, flexibility, and creative problem-solving
-Ability to collaborate with therapists, aides, caregivers, and families
Schedule:
-Part-time, as needed; 5-20hrs per week
-Schedule based on program needs and your availability
-Must be available one weekend day
Compensation:
-Hourly pay
-DOE: $24-$28
